News : Vanishing Point release new album update

By on September 13, 2009

Melbourne prog-metal power house, VANISHING POINT have just released a statement of the bands upcoming new album.

Guitarist Chris Porcianko released this statement on his Myspace page:

I just thought to jump on and say that so far our new songs are sounding really cool and although I am not one to compare the new songs to our older stuff , I can say that so far they are melodic, a little more progressive and in some parts heavy as well.

Hopefully we will be getting into the studio in the first part of next year and I’m sure that the new album wont take long to record.
Christian , Jake and Adrian are definately putting a cool new feel to the new songs and they sound fresh and exciting , actually we are kinda bored with playing our old songs , so we cant wait to get them out there, I’m itching to play the new songs.

We’ll see how things pan out and we will maybe throw in a new song on the upcoming tour with
SONATA ARCTICA in Australia.

Anyways , I hope you guys are all having a good weekend , stay healthy , stay metal and most of all be happy

Cheers n beers to you all

Chris -VP “
