News : Melbourne’s Abramelin to release a new album after a rather extended hiatus.
Abramelin is considered by many as pioneers of the death metal movement in Australia. The band was a driving force throughout the 1990’s performing alongside many other local metal acts, plus international giants Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Cradle of Filth and many more. During the band’s peak, they were in high touring demand, yet inevitably took a break in 2003 and last almost 14 years.
Now, the band returns with their newest material in almost 20 years. “Never Enough Snuff” was recorded in Melbourne and mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound in Sweden. Listen to the new material below via Youtube.
Fast forward to 2017, Abramelin returned stronger than ever! Original members Simon Dower and Tim Aldridge are still on board with ex-Abramelin guitarist & music contributor Rob “Wog” Mollica (Earth) now picking up the bass; blisteringly fast guitarist Matt Wilcock (Ackercocke), and last but not least, Australia’s #1 metal drummer, David Hayley (Psycroptic) is on board ripping out the blast beats. Abramelin is set to release the new album titled ‘Full Gore Whore’ this May. Listen and pre-order the album now via Bandcamp and Spotify.
