News : Premiere: ÆTHERIAL reveal new lyric video, ‘The Fallen Will Mark The Way’
Melbourne’s ÆTHERIAL has dropped their new lyric video, ‘The Fallen Will Mark The Way’. This is the new single from the band’s debut album The Still Waters Of Oblivion, out November 10th via Truth Inc Records, and we have the new lyric video for your viewing pleasure. Check it out below.
“The Fallen Will Mark the Way is about the persistence and resilience that’s required to follow your destiny. It’s a song about always moving forward whilst letting go of the past,” vocalist Shep explains.
The video was created by Azreal Design (Germany) and Red Beard Design (Germany). Vocalist Shep comments further.
“With the lyric video we wanted to stick with similar themes from the album artwork. There’s also a lot of inspiration from the trees in ‘The Evil Dead’ – which definitely works on a number of levels,” Shep says.
Pre-orders for the debut album are available now. Click here to secure your copy! Keep up to date with all things ÆTHERIALvia the band’s official Facebook page.
Brutally fierce, crushing and relentless, Ætherial forge a uniquely dark and devastating sound. Combining elements of melodic death and traditional metal, formidable vocals, intense guitar riffs and epic harmonies define this brutal act from Melbourne, Australia. Lyrically, Ætherial explores the darkest recesses of the soul; exposing what is lurking behind the false reality of everyday life. The stark look beyond the restraints of social and cultural boundaries examine forces surrounding and influencing the human condition.
Ætherial have completed their 12-track debut album “The Still Waters of Oblivion”; which was recorded, mixed, and mastered in Melbourne at Everland Productions by Oresti Salter. Artwork was done by Patrick Wittstock in Germany.
Shortly after, the live lineup was fortified with Paul Gatt on drums, Matthew Dodd on guitar, and as of January 2016, Joshua Hernandez on guitar; with Ætherial playing a commanding host of shows in Melbourne and regional areas.
In July 2016, the band signed a world wide management deal with US-based Extreme Management Group; home of heavyweights, Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, Origin and fellow Australians King Parrot. This partnership is poised to bring their soul capturing strain of Melodic Death across the world.
