News : Previous two Phalanx albums for free download

Brisbane-based extreme metal band Phalanx have put their previous two releases online for free download. 2005’s “The Necropsalms” and 2008’s “Psychosis” are both available at phalanx.bandcamp.com. The band are currently working a new album due this year, and there are a few recording video clips on their Myspace.

For those that missed the news, last year the band went through a big lineup change with Roma (guitars/backing vocals) and Nic (guitars) both leaving the band within a few days of each other. Phalanx went into an indefinite hiatus but are now back with a couple old members (Evan Silver and Nick Hunter) rejoining the ranks, as well as classical virtuoso/metal machine Dimitri Ac on guitar.

The band have a couple of big live shows coming up, including gigs with Empyrean and Alchemist. For further details check out their Myspace or our gig guides.
