Singapore’s Ammarah, featuring Aliz AJ of Melbourne’s premier Dio tribute act, Holy Diver, have released their long-awaited self-titled EP (which has been 10 years in the making). Recorded this time last year, Ammarah features four tracks sung entirely in Malay, and “Apocalypse”, the English version of “Malapataka” (also from this EP).

The EP itself was produced by Ammarah and Cedric Chew, and recorded, mixed, and mastered by Inversion Studios. The album design and logo came from Infernal Kiss.

Ammarah shared the news yesterday via their Facebook page, detailing the songs on the EP:

The long awaited EP release is finally here!

We apologize that it took so long for us to finally get this out.

This EP marks our blood, sweat and tears in the form of 4 songs that we believe shows our best that’s yet to come..

Tracks include:
Malapetaka – our most ambitious song about destruction and the end of life
Ammarah – a song about not to succumb to evils
Sengsara – our most popular single, a story about loss and hopelessness
Apocalypse – English version of Malapetaka, for the English listeners
and our duet Kitakan Bersama – a story about two lovers who are hoping on a reunion that will never happen

Ammarah wish and hope you will enjoy our songs and if you like it, do support by buying the full, super-clear, eargasmic WAV/lossless versions straight to your PC or mobilephone.

You can purchase and stream the full EP now via Ammarah’s official bandcamp.
