News : Subterranean Disposition post new track and debut video

By on May 23, 2016

This is a frankly stunning video clip. Bands to need to give up on the whole dudes playing instruments in a forest/basement/etc and come up with something that actually compliments the music, as the new video from Melbourne-based Subterranean Disposition does.

Contagiuum and the Landscapes of Failure is the name of the new album, coming out on June 13th through Hypnotic Dirge Records and over at No Clean Singing they’ve premiered that previously mentioned new video, the track “All Roads Lead to Perdition”.

“’All roads lead to perdition‘ touches lyrically on many facets of our decline as a species that could attribute to an extinction event or apocalypse in our lifetimes. To me the tone of the music invokes a similar feeling when reading Cormac McCarthy’s The Road — a post-apocalyptic journey down that road to hell, so I have tried to combine that feeling with the lyric concepts in an open-to-interpretation way, following the dynamics of the music very close visually on its long trip, from ignorance to disorder, death and beyond.”

Pre-orders are up now at the label website. Trust us, we’ve had a sneaky early listen and this one is worth your time.
