News : Ticketing Company Eventopia Offer Soundwave Refunds
It seems that after a series of rebuttals and uncertainty over the past few days between Eventopia and AJ Maddah (former promoter of Soundwave Festival), regarding refunds for the now defunct annual festival, the ticketing agency has stepped forward and announced that they will honour refund requests made by ticket holders.
The news was shared via Michael Carr of Music Feeds (you can find the original article here). Eventopia have noted that they too share “in the disappointment of festival fans at the cancellation of Soundwave 2016”. They further stated that “to ensure fans are not disadvantaged” they have invited ticket holders to “apply for a full refund of their Soundwave 2016 ticket prior to January 31.”
The quickest way for ticker holders to receive their refund is to email Eventopia at soundwave@eventopia.co. They also stated to be sure to include “their order details, including name and email address that the tickets were purchased under.”

According to Eventopia, the fastest way for ticket holders to receive their refund is to email soundwave@eventopia.co with “their order details, including name and email address that the tickets were purchased under.”
“Refunds will be returned to the original credit card used to purchase. Customers should expect to receive their refund within 21 business days from submitting their request.”
Ticket holders are urged not to submit multiple requests as your refund will be processed based on your most recent request. The submission of multiple requests could lead to a delay in the return of your funds.
