After their recent stint supporting South African alt-rockers Seether, Melbourne’s Orsome Welles are set to launch their newest single “Swim” at The Workers Club on Friday, September 11.

Presented by Wild Thing Presents, Orsome Welles will be joined on stage by Sydney-based ambient-prog band, Glass Ocean, the heavy melodic Arakeye, and rockers TUX.

‘Swim’ showcases an exciting new musical direction and a condensing of every part of their journey so far as a band. Recording ‘Swim’ has invigorated Orsome Welles in every sense and the group is ever determined to give fans, old and new, an experience like no other.
Orsome Welles’ ferociously powerful live approach in tandem with the soulful, soaring vocals of enigmatic frontman, Michael Stowers, is a sight to behold. An unconventional merge of progressive and heavy, pounding grooves with a great feel for dynamics and variation, infused with old industrial chic.
In other words, yes, their show will blow your mind.
Orsome Welles’ debut EP ‘Erth News Bulletin’ launch last December at The Workers Club exceeded expectations, and created a real buzz that resonated with every person that managed to cram inside the venue With the group hitting Adelaide and Warnambool in the lead up to the Melbourne ‘Swim’ launch, we expect September 11 to be another huge Orsome Welles occasion!
