News : Orsome Welles, EP Launch In December
Melbourne-based prog metallers, Orsome Welles, are set to launch their debut EP ‘Erth News Bulletin’ at The Workers Club, Fitzroy on Friday December 12. Fresh off the heels of a successful year that has seen Orsome Welles open for Israel’s melodic, progressive powerhouse, Orphaned Land, Orsome Welles have also toured alongside the likes of stellar local talent including Ne Obliviscaris, Caligula’s Horse, Toehider and Barbarion.
…the intangible force that is Orsome Welles have built a reputation nationally from fans and critics alike for their intensely unique, energetic and captivating live performances.
Presented by Wild Thing Presents, Beat, and Metal Obsession, “‘Erth News Bulletin’ encompasses six of the band’s finest works, showcasing the band’s signature heavy grooves, outstanding musicianship and soulful, distinctive vocals.”
Orsome Welles will be joined by a veritable selection of talent. New South Wales’ “carnivale metallers” Troldhaugen will be joining the fray (as well as launching their new album, ‘Obzkure Anekdotez For Maniakal Massez’), along with “astral rockers” Alithia and the “alternative intergalactic” Full Code, both prog acts from Melbourne.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow (November 6) at 10am via Wild Thing Presents, Oztix, and The Workers Club.
