News : Slapdash Records/Promotions presents: Institutionalized Fest
Metal, punk and hardcore… no band can bring the three genres together like the mighty Suicidal Tendencies did. As a tribute to that band, and a way to bring the three genres together for a huge day of entertainment, Institutionalized Fest is back again after a successful turnout in 2013.
This years event is held at Hermann’s Bar in Sydney on Saturday June 28, and will feature 13 of Sydney and Melbourne’s best bands from the genres mentioned before, with Party Vibez and Corpus headlining (flyer/full line-up is in this article). All bands will have their set recorded for a compilation CD to be released later in the year.
Slapdash are asking for the fans involvement by picking the running order for the show. You can go on the event page and vote for one band that you want as the main support for the headliners. The running order will be made by order of votes. All voters will go in the draw for a double pass to the gig.
Bands vying for the main support slots are as follows:
Dark Order, Thrashed, Head in a Jar, Arteries, Speedball, Fat Chance, NCOTW, Bombs Are Falling, Our Past Days, The Great Awake & Steel Swarm
