News : Vanishing Point Sign Record Deal And Announce November Tour

By on June 8, 2014

Melbourne’s progressive-melodic metal quintet, Vanishing Point, have announced the special tour they’ll be conducting this November. Having signed a record deal with Japanese label, Rubicon Music, the lads will be touring for the first time ever in none other than Japan!

AJ of Bane of Winterstorm designed the tour poster for the guys.

This is very exciting news for Vanishing Point! Metal Obsession recently spoke with Chris Porcianko, guitarist for the band, about it and he’d expressed enthusiastically how Japan was somewhere Vanishing Point “have always wanted to play at [and] it’s a place where we should have been over ten years ago” (check out our full interview here).

The band had this to say about the announcement on their Facebook page:

Hi Everyone,

We’re excited to announce that we’ve signed a new Japanese record deal with Rubicon Music. For our friends in Japan, you can get the album here:

We’re also excited to announce that we’ll be touring Japan for the first time in November. Thank you so much to our brother Maru for helping organise it, along with Rubicon Music.

Arigato,
VP

Also: Thanks to AJ from Bane of Winterstorm for the poster design.
