News : One for all you doom fans; Conan are touring Australia

For those of you who don’t know UK doom band Conan, there’s one word that describes them; HUGE. The fact that Sydney’s Yanomamo are joining the tour is definitely a bonus too.

Fresh from their devastatingly muscular performances at the Desertfest and Roadburn festivals, Von Grimm Records is proud to present; “Conan” on their debut Australian tour – despoiling hapless venues in Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

Spawned from the Mother Country (that’s England for skips), Conan’s apocalyptic and suffocating brand of doom metal will arrive just in time to crush the first flowers of Spring.

After close to a decade of liquefying ear drums, Conan have delivered their sophomore effort ‘Blood Eagle’, featuring six definitive parables of grief proclamation!

Antipodean sludge doomers “Yanomamo” will be hitchhiking along for the ride with their trademark brand of violence and distortion.

Joining these two heavyweights will be bands hued in every shade of dark blues.

It’s an ear pounding aural collision from both sides of the Nullabor; with a unique line up for each show.Imagine the most funereal of dirges set to fuse-blowing sound pressure levels and you have the ominous physical presence that is Conan. This will be one of the heaviest bands you’ll ever witness – on this most epic of debut tours…
