News : Debut Single By Dark Symphonica Peaks On Australian iTunes Charts
Female fronted, Brisbane based symphonic metallers Dark Symphonica officially released their debut single “Scream and Bleed” a couple weeks back, and in lieu of its recent success on the Australian iTunes charts, peaking at number 4, it has seen the band gain further traction as the release date to their upcoming debut album fast approaches.
Recorded with Adam Merker of Studio Anders who is known for his past work with fellow Brisbane bands Alpine Fault and the partying buccaneers Lagerstein, “Scream and Bleed” was further mastered by maestro Jens Bogren of Fascination Street Studios who has worked with such prominent international acts as Kreator, Opeth, and Paradise Lost.
Directed by Jarrad Rooke of Dropframe Creative, “Scream and Bleed” is the first single released by the band for their anticipated upcoming debut album Immersion; due for release later this year.
Up and coming Australian symphonic metal band Dark Symphonica have released an official music video for their debut single ‘Scream and Bleed’ which can be viewed below.
Soon after the digital release of ‘Scream and Bleed’ two weeks ago, the track peaked at number 4 on the iTunes Australia Metal charts. The song was recorded with Adam Merker of Studio Anders Debeerz (Alpine Fault, Lagerstein), and mastered with the world renowned Jens Bogren of Fascination Street Studios (Opeth, Kreator, Paradise Lost).Jarrad Rooke of Dropframe Creative, and director of the music video, remarked: “I was so drawn to this track. It’s dynamically brilliant and I wanted to make a video that pulls out the character struggle from the lyrics. It’s as beautiful and as challenging as art should be.”The 5-piece orchestral sensation Dark Symphonica harvests elements of power thrash, progressive, and classical styles to create a kaleidoscopic sound which summons the listener on a deeply absorbing journey.
