News : Truth Corroded head into the studio

Adelaide’s Truth Corroded have announced The Saviours Slain as the title of their new full length album, the first written with guitarist Wayne Batters who replaced founding member Mark Lennard back in 2011. “Writing a new album without Mark has been challenging, as he is the definitive Truth Corroded sound, and I have been working with him ever since I started playing” comments bass player and co-writer Greg Shaw “however, it has been a success.’ The Saviours Slain ‘ sounds like a progression on from our previous two albums and captures elements of each while bringing some new dimensions as well, and continues the great work Mark has accomplished with the band”

Handling mixing and mastering on the album will be Mark Lewis (The Black Dahlia Murder, Arsis, Deicide, Whitechapel) at Florida’s Audiohammer Studio.

The album will also see former member Corey Grieve return to the studio with the band to record lead guitars. The Saviours Slain is due out late 2013 in Australia and New Zealand through Truth Inc Records.
