News : Introducing: Rust Proof and their debut EP
Gee-troit (*cough*… Geelong) has seen a lot of heavy-hitting bands come and go over the years. But what do you get when you put members of past Aussie hardcore/thrash bands like Tenth Dan, Speartackle and Blood Money together? The tough-as-nails hardcore band known as Rust Proof. The members have championed hardcore in Australia as both punters and performers for over a decade, and now they’ve formed a band as menacing and energetic as their previous bands.
Backed by Scott Mac (Toe to Toe) and his new promotional moniker Old School Cartel, Rust Proof have released their debut, self-titled EP for free download/pay what you want, with a 7″ vinyl (limited to 200 copies) being released in August.
You can download Rust Proof’s debut EP from their Bandcamp page, and you can pre-order the vinyl from Old School Cartel’s Bigcartel site for $10.
