News : Bane of Winterstorm announce their line up

Melbourne based symphonic power metallers BANE OF WINTERSTORM (formally known as WINTERSTORM) have recently revealed their new line-up to the world. The new line-up consists of ORPHEUS guitarist and vocalist, Chris Themelco and ANARION frontman, Riccardo Mecchi.

After what feels like the longest two years ever, we are proud to announce a full lineup featuring members of Anarion and Orpheus. As 2012 rolled along and the finishing touches were put on our debut album ‘The Last Sons of Perylin’ vocalist Robert Bekesi and guitarist Daniel Smith parted ways with the band amicably. Unsure of what to do, AJ and Tristan kept the split quiet.

All the pieces of the puzzle came together when we found a drummer for the first time since 2010 in Alberto Di Biase. Soon enough Chris Themelco (Orpheus) and Riccardo Mecchi (Anarion) both expressed interest in joining as guitarist and vocalist respectfully. With a new passion and drive, Bane of Winterstorm are ready to finally take on the Australian metal scene with full force.  Keep your eyes and ears open because there will be more announcements to come from the BoW camp soon.
