Interviews : Hatchet Dawn – The Toxic Horror Age of Rebirth (An interview with Howsie Noise)

Hatchet Dawn – Howsie Noise

Melbourne’s Hatchet Dawn aren’t like most metal bands in Australia. Over the years, the bands horror-themed groove metal (or “Toxic Horror Rock” as they like to call it) has scored them support slots for Marilyn Manson, and more recently punk-rock legends The Misfits and Switzerland’s industrial groove masters Sybreed. Last year saw the band release their ripping debut album “Rebirth”, and while it’s still an independent release, the band has gained a decent fanbase nationally. A week after their shows with Sybreed (one being the @moshphere festival in Melbourne), guitarist Howsie Noise had a chat to Metal Obsession about the Rebirth album, producing other bands, his favourite horror film and more. Check it out below.
