News : Steve Hughes returns to Australia for the International Comedy Festival (Sydney/Melbourne)

By on February 21, 2012

Steve Hughes, formally of Naxzul, Mortal Sin and Slaughter Lord fame brings his hard hitting political and social commentary to the Melbourne and Sydney International Comedy Festival this April.

Press release:

He’s back. The comic wizard with worldly insights into the bleedingly obvious returns to our shores armed with more issues than an occupy movement. Steve Hughes tells it like it is – confronting, alarming and always hilarious.

Expect intelligent, straight-talking social commentary from one of the Festival’s most original and thought-provoking performers.

Over 11 years ago one of Australia’s greatest heavy metal drummers, Steve Hughes, put down the sticks and picked up the microphone. Since then he has received international acclaim and is considered one of Australia’s greatest comedy exports. He returns to Sydney with his biggest and best show yet!
