News : You could host ‘The Racket’ in 2012!
Triple J is currently on the look out for a new presenter for ‘The Racket’ in 2012.
After nearly ten years on Triple J’s, ‘The Racket‘. Host and borderline obsessed lover of all things heavy metal Andrew Haug, was sadly let go by Triple J last Tuesday evening from Australia’s much loved weekly metal show, ‘The Racket’ (aka Full Metal Racket).
The metal community was both shocked and saddened to see Andrew Haug leave the Triple J airwaves. However, no official press release was given to the public as to why Triple J decided to remove Andrew Haug from their weekly metal radio program.
“Thanks to Triple j for what’s been an amazing ride and privilege. But the biggest thank you goes to The Racket listeners for all their support and dedication to the Heavy Metal genre in its many forms. This show has never been about me, I’m just the lucky messenger spreading the word & I’ll continue to do so.”
