News : Sydney man eats dog food for Metallica tickets

According to the Sydney branch of radio station Triple M, a “hardcore” Metallica fan went on radio and ate a ‘spoonful’ of gourmet beef dog food in order to win tickets to this week’s concerts in the city. Five passionate rock fans took part in the competition by appearing on the show, and undergoing a series of awkward challenges had to prove how desperate they were to win what were the last tickets in town.

The challenges ranged from the simple ‘picking which envelope has the tickets’ to the kiss another guy contest. Winner Marcello, however, drew the ‘disgusting’ challenge when he was told to win he would have to swallow a soup spoon of gourmet dog food.

Really, he could have just bought the new ‘Big 4’ dvd and a can of Chum and save the fuss…
