News : Aeon of Horus announce lineup changes

Canberra based progressive death metal act Aeon of Horus, have announced a new guitarist and bassist to the group’s ranks. Peter Meere, formally of melodic death metal outfit Templestowe has taken over guitar duties for the band with Scott Carter, mixer/engineer of the band’s debut album The Embodiment of Darkness and Light taking over bass duties from the recently departed Chris Pratt.

Aeon of Horus drummer Ben Hocking comments:

“We are very happy to have Pete and Scott in the band. Both are amazing musicians and breathe new life to our sound and vision. Having been friends of Aeon of Horus since its infancy, Pete and Scott were a logical choice and have taken to the band with ease”.

Having been hard at work on new material for a forthcoming release for several months, Aeon of Horus will be hitting the road in December and January around Australia to showcase both new material written with the new members and songs off the band’s 2009 release The Embodiment of Darkness and Light.
