News : sleepmakeswaves writing new album, post live footage

Sydney instrumental post rockers sleepmakeswaves have posted a short update on where the band are at concerning their debut full length, slated for release in the first half of 2011. The four-piece, who recently were announced as main support for shows in Melbourne and Sydney with the amazing Perth band Eleventh He Reaches London this October, have also posted some live footage from recent shows around Sydney.

We are so psyched for this, and have been writing what we feel is our strongest material to date. Despite Alex living sorta far away, we can’t wait to release it to roam the wild plains of the internet. In this metaphor our album is a horse. We’ll continue to update you as things progress, and probably post video footage of us doing funny shit (read: reading Will’s weird anime).
