News : Five Star Prison Cell tour update

Five Star Prison Cell have taken some time off from their busy tour schedule to inform their fans of some recent updates…

We’ve been enjoying a few weeks apart after our massive tour. 30 odd shows over 2 months hitting every state in the country traveling a grand total of 28,000km.. (We worked it out in one of the many van trips)… The tour was very much a success thanks the organization of our manager, and also the federal government grant. And we extend this thanks out to all those who came to our shows and supported us and all the amazing bands we played with and borrowed gear from.

We have just posted a new track Modus Operandi from our latest album Matriarch on our Myspace and will put some more new stuff up over the coming weeks/months.

Speaking of Matriarch, rave reviews keep coming in and it seems quite a few people are picking it up and giving it a listen.. So thank you.. We are extremely proud of this album, prouder than ever before and it’s nice to know people are enjoying it. Our Sept 3rd Show in Melbourne with Tim McMillan has been postponed and moved back to October. Will let you know more about that when official date is locked in.
Also: There have been quite a few delays with our filmclip for I Curse This Vessel. It’s been 2 months since we had hoped to have it but it has been beyond our control.
Our apologies and we hope to have finished and unleashed soon.
