Rhapsody of Fire – Luca Turilli

Luca Turilli has been the mastermind behind Rhaposdy of Fire for well over 15 years now. Originally named Rhapsody, the band changed their formidable name to Rhapsody of Fire back in 2006 due to trademark issues. Since then the band have had a rough journey with many legal and record company battles. One of which being a still present battle with Magic Circle Music and Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio, for a yet unknown reason.

Much like any epic power metal saga, the band have found light at the end of the tunnel with the imminent release of their new album ‘The Frozen Tears of Angels’, which will be released through their new label Nuclear Blast Records. Metal Obsession recently had the chance to speak with Luca Turilli and talk in depth about the band’s new album.
