Members of the band with the best name in Melbourne – A Million Dead Birds Laughing – have given an update on their debut album, set to be released sometime in 2010.

INVADER“We figured we should give an update on what the current situation is with our debut album ‘Force-Fed Enlightenment’ as we haven’t been very forthcoming with info as of late. We’ve been hard at work putting together all the artwork and the cover for the album which was all hand-drawn by Adam (vocals); this process is taking longer than anticipated and at this stage we do not have a set release date for the album.

Further to that we are currently trying to secure a release through a distro/label; we had a lot of plans in the pipeline that r

ecently have had to be put on hold due to some drawbacks as far as the release goes but we hope to have all aspects of the album completed and ready for release asap.

So to give anyone interested a glimpse into what to expect; we are uploading a completely mixed and mastered track (161) from ‘Force-Fed Enlightenment’ and a sample of the artwork within the booklet; the art piece below is entitled ‘Invader’ and is a direct representation of the song of the same name.
