MIND MELTING THRASH METAL MAYHEM – A MELBOURNE FIRST

T H E  T H R A S H E N I N G

A celebration of all things thrash metal, The Thrashening sees a first time coming together of Melbourne’s most devastating bands – In Malice’s Wake, Demolition, Elm Street and Inebriator. This unmissable event features each band’s own brand of whiplashing metal plus classic heavy metal covers, with a DJ playing thrash metal favourites all night long. Do not miss this chance to lose yourself in the chaos that is The Thrashening!

After bludgeoning audiences Australia-wide in late 2009, In Malice’s Wake returns to the stage to dominate once again. In Malice’s Wake’s blistering set will feature several brand new tracks. Their unrivalled aggression, presence and precision will leave you breathless.

Demolition are a thrash metal band of the highest order. With guitar chops to rival the best in the genre and a clear understanding of dynamics and style, the music created by Demolition will first crush, then maim and have you returning for more.

After recently supporting Aussie icons The Angels during the 2009 LIVE tour, Elm Street have been blasting their brand of traditional thrash metal to local audiences all over. A hard working band winning over legions of fans, do not miss Elm Steet’s killer set!

Inebriator have been crushing audiences recently with their old school brand of thrash metal. Influenced by bands such as Kreator, Nuclear Assault, Slayer and the like, Inebriator’s set of uncompromising old school mayhem will ensure the night goes off with a massive bang!
