Sound Chaser are proud to announce our very first event! We’re running a four band show, with three Melbourne bands – Iotah, 79 Revisited and Toehider – supporting Voyager.
VOYAGER (www.myspace.com/voyageraustralia) – Coming over from Perth, WA for a rare
visit to the East Coast, Voyager are all set to wow audiences again with their
unique brand of music, which encompasses styles including metal, prog, electro,
gothic and rock. Crazy solos, soaring vocals, mesmerizing melodies and relentless
antics on stage make a Voyager show one of the best around. As much hailed for their
brilliant music, as their live performances, Voyager is a band you have to see at
least once in your lifetime.TOEHIDER (www.myspace.com/toehider) – Created as an ambitious project to finish “12
EPs in 12 months”, Mike Mills’ Toehider has become a cult favourite with Melbourne
audiences with their unpredictable music delving into the ingenious mind of the
creator. Strange, bewildering and inspiring are just some of the adjectives you can
use to describe Toehider.79 REVISITED (www.myspace.com/79revisited) – While Voyager and Toehider will blow
you away with their startling originality, 79 Revisited will do the same with their
wonderfully executed covers of little-heard classics from the “New Wave of British
Heavy Metal” era. Playing songs from bands such as Def Leppard, Iron Maiden and
Angel Witch – these hardy veterans of rock will get your juices pumping with their
frenetic performance.IOTAH (www.myspace.com/iotah) – Despite their ages, these girls are no newcomers to
Melbourne’s live circuit. With a fair number of gigs already under their bells,
these four sisters are set for big things as they use their influence and love of
70s classic rock to forge a more modern sound of their own.
