News : LORD announce fill-in guitarist

After a long and painful search, Sydney’s LORD have finally found  a suitable live fill-in guitarist for Lord Tim.

Lord Tim was diagnosed with an acute hand/wrist problem sometime ago which has restricted him from general guitar duties. Thankfully, he will still assume the role of lead vocals until his hand is fully healed.

LORD have successfully brought on board Matt Bell, guitarist of Sydney based KNIGHTQUESTE and TROLDHAUGEN.

The band released this statement on their official forum:

Hi all

As we all know, Tim has had some problems with his hands and has been advised by a health professionals to take a break from playing guitar for at least 6 months. So it’s with great pleasure (and relief!), that we can finally announce our fill in guitarist who will be accompanying LORD at the next two shows and possibly beyond!

Enter: Matt Bell (of Troldhaugen and KnightQueste)

Matt has blown us away with his ability to pick up the LORD/Dungeon set, and comfortably work his way into the band as a much needed fill in for Tim.

Playing with us at the next two shows in Canberra and Sydney this weekend, Matt will be sure to lay to rest any worries that anyone might have about stepping into Tim’s shoes! For those coming along, please make him feel welcome and show your thanks for the countless hours he has put in to make this happen.
