News : King Parrot unleash their new single “Banished, Flawed then Docile”.
Melbourne grindcore maniacs, King Parrot, are back with a new track titled “Banished, Flawed then Docile” taken from their forthcoming new EP ‘Holed up in the Lair’. Rumour has it, the EP was recorded during time off between tour dates while in the USA. The EP was guided by engineer Steve Berrigan, a man no stranger to working with some of the greats in the metal scene, including; Down, EYEHATEGOD and Philip H Anselmo and The Illegals.
The forthcoming EP will be released in a strictly limited edition 7″ vinyl of only 1000 copies available worldwide. The EP will also be available to listen via all leading digital music platforms.
Matt Young, vocalist of King Parrot comments:
“Usually King Parrot always try to write music together in the same room, but that just hasn’t been possible for us because of the lockdown. We were planning on re-working these tracks for a new album eventually, but when all the restrictions came about, we thought “Why not get these tracks out there as a special limited edition 7″ release?”. We think King Parrot fans will be happy with these tracks, it’s rude, loud, fast and grimey and we poured our heart and soul into them; there’s no doubting its unabashedly KP!”
Kings Parrot’s EP “Holed Up In The Lair” will be available worldwide from October 9th. Pre-orders are currently available via www.kingparrot.net.
