News : Lacuna Coil pulls out of Download Festival Australia due to the Coronavirus.

Sad news from the Lacuna Coil camp today as the band have unfortunately announced the cancellation of their South East Asia tour, including a Middle Eastern tour date due to the ongoing Coronavirus which is in the midst of an outbreak in the band’s home region of Lombardia in Italy.

Download Festival Australia has jumped on social media to confirm they’re working hard on finding a replacement for Sydney and Melbourne, respectively. No further updates have been made regarding the late cancellation.

Lacuna Coil took to social media to apologies to their fans regarding the unfortunate circumstances.

The message reads:

We regret to inform our beloved fans of South East Asia that due to circumstances beyond our control we must cancel our upcoming shows in Dubai, Bangkok, Melbourne, Sydney, Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore and Jakarta. Our home region of Lombardia, Italy, is in the midst of a Coronavirus outbreak. While cancelling is heartbreaking for us, everyone’s health and safety must come first and this includes our fans. We’re confident this emergency will soon be contained and we can get back on the road to you. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
