News : Scorpions and Whitesnake Sydney show rescheduled for Wednesday, 26th February 2020.
After the rather disappointing news of Scorpions and Whitesnake cancelling their Sydney show on Saturday, 22nd February at Qudos Bank Arena due to a medical emergency in the Scorpions entourage. Brisbane followed soon after with the cancellation of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre performance on Monday, 24th February due to the ongoing medical emergency in the Scorpion’s camp.
It was later discovered that Scorpions frontman, Klaus Meine suffered a painful attack due to kidney stones. He received surgery in Melbourne on Saturday, 22nd February to remove the stone and is currently on the mend.
Live Nation Australia, the promotional company behind the current Australian tour did advise fans the Sydney show would be re-scheduled. However, no news has been mentioned yet of a rescheduled show for Brisbane.
Sydney patrons will have their chance to see both Scorpions and Whitesnake in Sydney at Qudos Bank Area on the newly rescheduled date of Wednesday, 26th February. All previously purchased tickets for the original show on Saturday, 22nd February are valid for the rescheduled date in Sydney. However, those wanting a refund can click here.
