News : Black Majesty parts ways with their drummer. Now looking for a replacement.
Melbourne’s Black Majesty have recently parted ways with their long time drummer, Ben Wignall. Ben has been an integral part of the Melbourne based power ensemble since 2014. Recording drums on the band’s 2018 full-length album “Children Of The Abyss” alongside touring Europe, Australia and Asia.
Black Majesty posted a message on their official Facebook page regarding the departure and is now looking for a new drummer to continue the band’s legacy.
We would like to thank Ben Wignall for his stay with Black Majesty. Ben has been with us since 2014 and recorded drums on our 2018 album “Children Of The Abyss” alongside tours in Europe, Australia and Asia within that time. We have had a lot of great memories with Ben. He is a fantastic drummer and we wish Ben the best of luck with his future plans.
Black Majesty is currently working on their as of yet untitled new album which will also include tour dates throughout 2020. The band have put out a request for all interested drummers to apply for the newly opened position.
As we have an album to record and a schedule for shows in 2020, we will be looking at any interested drummers who want to be part of our Metal Family.
Drummers interested in the position can email the band in advance at black_majesty@hotmail.com. For full details, head to the band’s official Facebook page.
