News : Thy Art Is Murder announce headline east coast tour dates this July.

Sydney based deathcore giants, Thy Art Is Murder, have confirmed headline east coast tour dates in Australia this July, dubbed “Life in the Crosshairs” tour. Those who attended Download Festival in Melbourne and Sydney this year would have no doubt seen the wildest circle pit to ensue during the band’s performances in Melbourne and Sydney, respectively.

The upcoming tour will give fans the opportunity to be formally introduced to the band’s newest member, Jesse Beahler, who has officially taken over drum duties from long-standing member Lee Stanton. Having spent the past four years as a part-time member stepping in for Lee, Jesse is no stranger to Thy Art Is Murder audiences. A longtime friend of the band and one of the best drummers in modern metal, Jesse’s work can be heard on The Depression Sessions, as well as their forthcoming album.

Thy Art will kick off their US and Canada tour in late April before jetting back to Australia in July for the exclusive east coast tour dates. The band will then head back on the road again to Europe where they will perform at Wacken Open Air, Brutal Assault and Summer Breeze, among other tour dates.
