News : Static-X to perform a memorial tribute to Wayne Static this August with Wednesday 13 and Dope.
Static-X, the iconic 90’s industrial nu-metal band formed in 1994 by founding member, Wayne Static, will perform special memorial shows across Australia this August to pay tribute to Wayne Static. In 2014, Wayne Static passed away due to a combination of excessive prescription drugs and alcohol in his
Static-X has played a pivotal role in the evolution of the industrial metal movement with the release of the band’s debut album “Wisconsin Death Trip”, featuring the singles ‘Push It’, ‘I’m With Stupid’ and ‘Bled For Days’.
Static-X, featuring the original members Tony Compos, Ken Jay and Koichi Fukuda will perform in Brisbane on Thursday, 22nd August at Eatons Hill, Melbourne on Friday, 23rd August at The Croxton, Sydney on Saturday, 24th August at the Metro Theatre, Adelaide on Monday, 26th August at The Govm and finishing up in Perth on Tuesday, 27th August at Rock Rover.
As a special bonus, Australian fans will also be treated to supports from Wednesday 13 and Dope.
