Orpheus Omega’s Joao Goncalves explains the new single “Suffer” and its music video.
“The track is about impending doom and the things we choose to ignore that harm us. The idea was to make a song that was unrelenting and different from what we have done before”
“The inspiration [for the video] was horror movies and the things that make us uncomfortable, thus the contorting of the antagonist. It was the one song we didn’t make changes to after preproduction as it was perfect as it was and that’s why we wanted to release it first. It’s nonstop and unforgiving and it captures the mood of the album overall in its darker tone”
The new album ‘Wear Your Sins’ out March 29th via EVP Recordings. Pre-order your copy here!
