News : Download Australia’s second lineup announcement confirmed
Download Australia patrons will be pleased to hear Live Nation, the promoters behind the upcoming festival in March next year have confirmed the festival’s second lineup. News broke of Sydney metalcore outfit, Polaris as one of the first band’s to be added to the second lineup earlier this week. We can now confirm Sum 41, Thy Art Is Murder, Slaves, Pennywise, Voyager and Twelve Foot Ninja have been added to the already monstrous lineup. That’s a total of 36 bands across 5 stages over one epic day. No further details have been added to confirm if additional bands will be added to the lineup.
The lineup currently features headliners; Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Alice in Chains, Slayer among a slew of bands from home and aboard.
Download Australia will make its debut in Sydney on Saturday, 9th March at Parramatta Park and return to Melbourne at Flemington Racecourse on Monday, 11th March (Labour Day Public Holiday). General admission tickets are on sale from $189 + bf with the addition of VIP packages ranging from $299 – $379 +bf with loaded incentives.
