News : KISS set to return to Australia in 2019 for the “End of the Road” tour
KISS, undoubtedly one of the greatest hard rock acts on the planet will perform their last ever tour of Australia in November 2019 as part of the band’s “End of the Road” world tour. After an epic and lavish career spanning 45-years, multiple platinum-selling albums, sold out stadiums across the globe and an endless array of merchandise that puts Disney to shame. KISS is now calling it a day, but not without performing one last time to their legion of fans.
The appropriately named “End of the Road” tour was made public by the band on the US America’s Got Talent, which sent KISS fans into a tizzy. The first set of shows for the final KISS tour will take place across America from January to March 2019, followed by Canada and Europe. The announcement of Australian and New Zealand tour dates are set for November and December 2019. KISS made their first appearance in Australia in 1980 and have since come back numerous times, performing at the F1 Grand Prix and alongside the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra on the 2003 live album ‘Kiss Symphony: Alive IV’.
Perth will be the first to experience the last ever tour of KISS on November 16th, then moving through to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tickets are set to go on sale Monday, 12th November 2018 at 10 am (local time). KISS is also slated to perform at the Supercars Newcastle 500 on November 23rd 2019.
KISS comments on the final world tour.
“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years. This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in….. Unapologetic and Unstoppable,” said KISS.
KISS Meet & Greet Experiences will be available at all shows, except the Supercars Newcastle 500. KISS Army fan club presales begin today at 2.00pm. Visit www.kissonline.com & www.ticketek.com.au for more information.
