News : Dee Snider announces exclusive spoken word Australian tour dates
The outspoken and charismatic, Dee Snider, vocalist of New York-based metal ensemble Twisted Sister will venture to Australia next January/February as part of his spoken word tour, performing exclusive shows in Melbourne and Sydney.
An event not to be missed by any Twisted Sister fan or music enthusiast for that matter. Dee Snider will share stories spanning his career in the music industry, starring on multiple reality TVs shows, including The Celebrity Apprentice, and of course his battle against censorship with the PMRC (Parents Music Resource Center) led by Tipper Gore. In addition, Dee Snider will perform classic cuts from Twisted Sister’s back catalogue with his full band.

Thursday, 31st January – Sydney – Manning – SPOKEN
Friday, 1st February – Sydney – Manning – SHOUTED!
Saturday, 2nd February – Melbourne – Croxton – SHOUTED!
Sunday, 3rd February – Melbourne – Croxton – SPOKE

Each city will be treated to one spoken night, featuring Dee telling stories of his life and answering audience questions. The next night is dubbed Shouted!, a night which will feature a live show with Dee Snider backed by his full band performing a set list of classic Twisted Sister anthems.
Twisted Sister is most notably known for their outlandish stage attire and commercially successful hits I Wanna Rock, The Prince and We’re Not Gonna Take It among many others. Dee Snider is currently promoting his new solo album ‘For The Love Of Metal’, out now via Napalm Records.
