News : Sweden’s Soilwork announce east coast tour dates for 2019
Swedish metal ensemble, Soilwork, are currently wrapping up the recording sessions for the follow-up 2015 release The Ride Majestic at Nordic Sound Lab Studios in Sweden with producer Thomas “Plec” Johansson (The Panic Room). The as of yet untitled new album is set for release early next year through German metal label, Nuclear Blast Records.
The band comments:
“We are very excited to tour Australia again and we will bring a brand-new album with us and we simply cannot wait to release this one. We will do one EU tour prior to the Australian dates, so our fans “down under” will be among the first ones to experience our new songs live”.
Australia is one of the first countries to be confirmed for the band’s upcoming world tour to promote the as of yet untitled new album next year. The band will embark on an exclusive east coast tour of Australia next March in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. All thanks to Hardline Media and RTN Touring.
Soilwork frontman Björn “Speed” Strid, comments on the upcoming tour:
“I’m really, really pleased with it – it’s really, really cool. It’s possibly the most epic and darkest album we’ve done. And it’s also very melancholic, but it’s also very sort of uplifting. It’s huge. I’m really happy with it”.
Thur 14 March – Brisbane – The Triffid
Fri 15 March – Sydney – Manning Bar
Sat 16 March – Melbourne – Max Watt’s
