News : Melbourne’s Harlott release “The Penitent” live music video, part ways with drummer
Melbourne thrash metal heroes, Harlott, have recently finished putting together footage from their massive European tour with Havok, Darkest Hour and Cephalic Carnage earlier this year. The footage was captured by Jared Anderson of Visceral Entertainment and edited by good friend and Orpheus Omega keyboardist, Owen Keswick Gallagher.
The final result is the band’s latest single “The Penitent”, taken from their highly successful third studio release Extinction which was released last year through Metal Blade Records. Grab a copy of the latest album here.
Harlott performed a total of 42 shows across 12 countries and 5 Australian states and territories, witg the recent sold-out Melbourne show with King Parrot marking the end of the ‘Extinction’ tour.
The band comments:
‘We’ve had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some of the best & biggest in Metal from around the world over the last 15 months; HAVOK, Darkest Hour, Cephalic Carnage, Sepultura, Death Angel, Overkill, Lich King & countless incredible Australian bands like Psycroptic, Orpheus Omega, King Parrot, Desecrator & Mason’.
In some sad news, Harlott’s long-time drummer, Tim Joyce has parted ways with the band. Tim was an integral part Harlott, offering three years of creativity and energy. We wish Tim the best of luck in his future endeavours.
However, this isn’t the end for Harlott. They will appear at 3 huge festivals later this year in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
