News : Sydney’s LORD release demos from forthcoming new album
Sydney’s LORD hasn’t been the most active touring band of late. That’s because the band have been locked away in the studio working on new material for the band’s forthcoming new album due out later this year. No word as yet when the album will be released, but the band has released some roughly cut demos off the forthcoming new album. Check them out below.
The band’s label, Dominus Records released the following statement on their Facebook page.
The guys in LORD have been very busy writing for their forthcoming album, which we’re due to release later in the year. As a special treat, we decided to give everyone a sneak peek at a few of the raw, early demo recordings so you have an idea of what you’re in for. It’s certainly shaping up to be another typically diverse LORD album! Excited?
No doubt the new album will bring with it a brand new national tour. No additional information has been announced regarding the name of the album, but stay tuned to Metal Obsession for more news as it breaks.
LORD is currently promoting their latest live release ‘Live At ProgPower USA: XVII’ which was recorded at the 2016 instalment of ProgPower USA in Atlanta, Georgia. The band performed alongside DragonForce, Fates Warning, Blind Guardian and Melbourne’s Vanishing Point to name but a few big names on the bill.
