News : Destruction Australian tour slated for April 2018
German Teutonic thrash lords, Destruction, have announced tentative tour dates across Australia in April 2018. The announcement came via local promotion company Hardline Media and their official Facebook page with what looks to be official tour dates across all major cities, including Perth and Adelaide. The promotion company simply states “Spread the word – more info soon!”. Unfortunately, no further details or ticket information have been provided.
However, Destruction has made the announcement via their official Facebook page with the status of “feeling fabulous”. This looks to coincide with the band’s Asain tour dates in April next year.
Destruction formed back in 1982 and released their debut album ‘Infernal Overkill‘ three years later. The band has achieved great success with their now defined classic releases ‘Eternal Devastation‘ (86) and ‘Release from Agony‘ (87). Destruction is credited as one of the big four of the German thrash metal movement, the others being Sodom, Kreator and Tankard. Destruction released their fourteenth studio album, ‘Under Attack‘ in May 2016 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Destruction is currently promoting their latest release ‘Thrash Anthems II‘ which features reworked material from the band’s back catalogue. The album is out now via Nuclear Blast Records.
