News : Europe announce first ever Australian tour
For the first time in their 35 year career, Swedish hard rock legends Europe has announced their debut tour of Australia. While many Australians have travelled abroad to see Joey Tempest and company perform at some of Europe’s (the continent) biggest hard rock and metal festivals. This will be a unique experience for Australia to enjoy the Swedes, as they promote their eleventh studio album, Walk The Earth, (out now via Hell & Back Recordings – Silver Lining Music) as well as performing classics like ‘Rock The Night’ and ‘The Final Countdown’.
The band had breakout success with their third studio release ‘The Final Countdown’ in 1986 which granted the band worldwide recognition and success with multiple platinum-selling records and numerous no.1 positions across Europe (the continent).
Europe frontman Joey Tempest, comments on the upcoming Australian tour:
“We are so excited to be touring Australia for the first time,” Tempest said.
“It’s something we always wanted to do, but we just couldn’t make the schedules work before.
“But now… it’s going to happen and we can finally hook up with our friends Down Under!”.
