News : Punk Thrash Fest hits Adelaide this year
Adelaide, we know you get a bum wrap at times when international tours hit Australia. But don’t despair, the Australian metal and punk community have your back.
On Saturday, 12th August heavy weights of the punk and thrash metal world will join forces at The Producers Bar – The Old Exchange to bring you Punk Thrash Fest. A tag team festival bringing you the best of both worlds.
In the metal corner, Hidden Intent headline the show after recently returning from their first European tour and are locked and loaded to provide Adelaide audiences with their distinctive band of THRASH! They’ll be supported by their interstate counterparts Harlott and Mason who are both hot on the heels of their stellar new releases, and Adelaide up and comers Executus.
For the punks, it’s legendary old school hardcore rockers Perdition taking the lead after recently releasing their amazing “Not Just Another Anthology” LP detailing the long and colourful history of the band dating back to 1983. Along for the ride on the punk train will be Pigsteerer, Ben Gel and the Boneyard Saints and Shame Worn. An epic line up that will go down as one of Adelaide’s most diverse and outright awesome shows of the year!
