News : Demonhead return with new drummer after year long hiatus
Melbourne metallers Demonhead have been on extended break over the course of a year. During that time frontman, Dave Lowes has been busy recording and touring with Envenomed and guitarist, Roo Power was recovering from a broken vertebrae in his back. Ouch! Now that the dust has settled and things are back to normal, Demonhead will be returning in 2017, and excited to introduce their new drummer, Dean Lewer into the fold.
Dean was originally the drummer for Melbourne power metal band Horizons Edge. The originally approached Dean back in 2015 to join the band, but was knee deep in touring with Horizons Edge. Since then Dean left Horizons Edge and is now comfortably drumming for Demonhead.
Demonhead have a couple of shows coming up over the course of 2017. No doubt this won’t be all of what we see of Demonhead. Stay tuned to Metal Obsession and the band’s official Facebook page for future announcements.
