Legions of Steel Festival returns in May, 2017 for its fourth consecutive year in a row. Presented by Espionage Bookings and Channel 31’s The Hard Rock Show, after tremendously successful past events, including 2016’s sold out show at The Bendigo Hotel, this year Legions of Steel Festival returns to The Bendigo Hotel with a stellar line-up of eight Melbourne bands, and two interstate bands.
Co-headlining this year’s event are two of Melbourne’s top-tier thrash metal outfits, Harlott and Desecrator. Playing the festival for their fourth time in a row, Harlott are just about to release their third album, after touring in Europe with Annihilator and signing to Metal Blade Records in 2015. Desecrator make their debut appearance at the festival after extensive touring overseas, including a European tour with thrash veterans Overkill.
Completing the Legions of Steel Festival line-up will be a diverse and strong mix of six local Melbourne bands in Damnations Day, Espionage, Trigger, Demonhead, Katana Cartel and newcomers Triple Kill, and two interstate bands, Taberah from Tasmania, who make their second appearance on the festival, and Gypsy from New South Wales, playing their first ever Melbourne show.
Pre-sale tickets are available now through Legions of Steel Festival’s official big cartel page, with a limited number of deluxe tickets available, which include a t-shirt and stubby holder.
Furthermore, pre-sale tickets will also function as raffle tickets on the day of the event, with the prize being a bundle pack featuring an assortment of merch and/or music from all bands featured on this year’s line-up. Raffle tickets for all other prizes will be made available for purchase at the merch desk.
