News : Steel Assassins returns for its sixth instalment in 2017
Now into its sixth year, the annual two-day metal festival, Steel Assassins, is back in 2017 in its home in Sydney. Almost a year away, the event will take place at The Bald Faced Stag Hotel on November 3rd and 4th.
Following on from the festivals biggest success yet in 2016, Sydney will once again play host to the country’s biggest gathering of Trad/Speed/Power/Thrash and Melodic Metal come November. Steel Assassins is not only a showcase of the best underground Heavy Metal from all over Australia and beyond but it has also become a social highlight for Maniacs all over Australia to unite and share their their love for Heavy Metal.
The history of the festival shows a list of amazing acts that have given truly amazing performances. Over the past 5 years we have had the likes of VOYAGER, DARKER HALF, ELM STREET, LORD, THE BENGAL TIGERS, NOTHING SACRED, TRANSCENDING MORTALITY, FROZEN DOBERMAN, DESECRATOR and many many more of Australia’s premier acts as well as some special guests from abroad such as MEGAHERA, RAZORWYRE, WIDOW, FALLEN ORDER and FORSAKEN AGE.

As per the Steel Assassins tradition, they will be announcing one band per week until the lineup is full. As they also state,

Steel Assassins have also made the proud announcement for Stalker as their first confirmed band. This will be the band’s first ever show!
