News : The Front Bottoms Australian Tour Update: Melbourne Sold Out, Local Supports Announced

New Jersey USA indie rockers, The Front Bottoms, are coming to Australia in January 2017 and demand is high for their return as the Melbourne show at The Corner Hotel has SOLD OUT!

The band’s wildly eclectic blend of pop, rock and punk set against witty, rapid fire lyrics provide an insight into the surreal perspective on how they view the world. The good time party band are known for getting the crowd involved while they play, often tossing out tambourines for them to shake along while the brass takes their punk into unique territory. Anthemic sing alongs, whisper quiet interludes and driving, pounding rhythms, make a gig from The Front Bottoms a hugely enjoyable experience!

Joining them as national support are Adelaide’s self confessed slacker punks and Triple J favourites, The Hard Aches, a two piece band, with an ever growing fanbase, and the 12th most played band on Triple J’s Unearthed! 
Their unbridled energy and sheer ‘good time, all the time’ attitude will have crowds primed.

The following local supports have been announced for each city of this tour. West coast punks, Alex The Kid will set the tone for the entire tour when they open the Amplifier Bar show in Perth. With momentum building via exposure from Triple J’s One Night Stand, the guys are prepping for a huge year ahead!

In Hobart, the once solo acoustic project that morphed into a three piece punk rock band known as The Sleepyheads will trek over from nearby Launceston to kick things off at the Brisbane Hotel.
Well known fixtures of the Canberra scene, Revellers are bringing their good time party vibes via some hard-hitting, melodic punk that has been scoring them gigs all over the country and beyond. 
 
While only being around for a year, Newcastle alt-rockers, Yours Alone have accomplished so much. Opening for big name internationals, playing festivals and more. Their ambition is matched by their fun, fast and tight live show!
