News : Hidden Intent announce management partnership with EMG
Adelaide thrash revivalists, Hidden Intent, have made the exciting announcement that they have joined the ranks of the New York based EMG (Extreme Music Group). With EMG known for its management of the likes of Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, King Parrot, Rings of Saturn, Cryptopsy, and many more, Hidden Intent will certainly be in fine company.
Hidden Intent frontman/bassist, Chris McEwen, had this to say,
“Hidden Intent are very excited to have signed a new management deal with EMG who are currently working with some killer well-known metal acts such as King Parrot, Cryptopsy and more, which I’m honoured to share an artist roster with. For the last five years I have been managing the band on a DIY basis so we’re very excited that EMG will be taking the band to the next level!”
And, from the mouth of EMG Artist Manager, Matt Young,
“I’m excited to announce that I’ll be working with Hidden Intent, who have consistently proven themselves to be one of Australia’s best thrash metal acts. Their dedication to hard work and touring is something I respect and partnering with EMG will ensure that they continue to build their fan base internationally and at home for many years to come.”
On behalf of the folks at Metal Obsession, congratulations to Hidden Intent on their management signing!
The exciting 3-piece have been honing their throwback thrash craft since 2011, and this new partnership with Extreme Management Group will see them spread their raucous gospel even further. Having proven themselves as tried and tested road dogs, the band has toured Australia and New Zealand consistently while also trekking to Asia, but they are hungry for more.
The bands hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed, having supported some of Australia and the world’s finest acts including ARTILLERY, HELLOWEEN, PSYCROPTIC, NE OBLIVISCARIS AND HOBB’S ANGEL OF DEATH. With a solid line-up in place and the band hard at work writing new material, the future is looking bright for HIDDEN INTENT.
You can catch Hidden Intent tonight (October 13) at Fowler’s Live, Adelaide opening for the mighty Queensrÿche (presented by Metropolis Touring).
