News : The Age Music Victoria sees King Parrot and Be’lakor nominated for categories!

The Age Music Victoria awards are this year celebrating its eleventh birthday, as a part of Melbourne Music Week program on Wednesday 16 November. The nominees for 2016 have been revealed and public voting is now open until 4 November.

Alongside a varied and impressive list of artists and bands are two in particular: Melbourne’s grind lords, King Parrot, and the Melbourne based melodic death metal heavyweights, Be’lakor.

The two bands have raked in nominations for “Best Live Band” (King Parrot) and “Best Heavy Album” for Be’lakor’s latest release, Vessels (out now via Napalm Records).
